This pair of Reverse Lock wheels is equipped with our high end BLACKARMADA tire.
The wheels fit to Skike V07 and are locked against backward movement. The Reverse lock wheels are installed front wheels of your skike.
With the Return Lock the wheels are locked against backwards movement which is very helpful on steep climbs (prevents rollbacks) and narrow paths that are skiked with rather slow speed.
The Return Lock (Return Stop) also draws Skiking nearer to classic style cross country Skiing compared to regular wheels. But since the heel is still fixed to the shoe frames the technique, although closer, is still not the same as classic style cross country Skiing.
Installation:
The Return Lock wheels can easilly be installed on your Skike. Just replace the old front wheels on both Skikes with the Return Lock wheels. The small hooks that can be seen on the picture are hooked into the wheel fork.
Please note: If the wheel base is set to maximum or minum then the the Return Lock is hooked from above to the wheel fork. In contrast to this if the wheel base is set to minimum the Return Lock has to be hooked from below the wheel.
Due to a little larger diameter of the Blackarmada tire this reverse lock can not be used with Skike mudguards.
